Breaking Down Barriers in Art
A group exhibition celebrating works that have been excluded, censored, or gatekept from traditional galleries
Ungated is a groundbreaking group art exhibition that provides a platform for works that have been excluded, censored, or gatekept from traditional galleries due to controversial themes, unconventional methods, challenging subject matter, or use of emerging technologies like AI.
We believe art should spark dialogue, challenge assumptions, and push boundaries—not be silenced by gatekeeping.
If your work has been excluded, censored, or deemed "too controversial" by traditional galleries, Ungated is your platform.
Religious expression, political commentary, ideological provocation, taboo subjects, or any topic deemed too sensitive for mainstream spaces
Non-traditional materials, found objects, performance documentation, or techniques that challenge "fine art" definitions
Raw, explicit, disturbing, or confrontational content that pushes boundaries and sparks difficult conversations
AI-generated art, digital innovation, or work incorporating new technologies often excluded from traditional exhibitions
We're seeking bold artworks that challenge gatekeeping for this juried exhibition.
